Emily X R Pan, the founding Editor-in-Chief of Bodega Magazine, is releasing her debut young adult title, The Astonishing Color Of After, March 22 with Orion Children's Books.

One of the most talked about debuts of 2018, the novel follows the story of Leigh as she deals with the aftermath of her mother's suicide. The Brooklyn based author born to Taiwanese parents in America's Midwest has been compared to novelists Celeste Ng and Jandy Nelson, and The Fault In Our Stars writer John Green described the novel as 'brilliantly crafted'.
